Security Officer Training

Security Officers in the state of Florida are required to possess a Class "D" Security Officer License. Possession of a Class D Security Officer License authorizes one to conduct security officer duties as an unarmed guard. As a licensed Training Center, Lionz Gate Security Services provides all necessary training including 40 hours of professional training for security officers as prescribed by Florida state statutes. Our goal is to provide our clients with the best training available and prepare them to become professionals in the security industry. If you are interested in becoming a security officer, our Class D Program is for you, however if you already possess a Class D license, our Class G Firearms license program will assist you in enhancing your security training and provide you with the tools you need to become an Armed Security Officer.

Armed Security Officer Training

Armed Security Officers are required to attend 28 hours of firearms training as prescribed by state statutes in order to carry a firearm in the performance of duties. Lionz Gate Security Services Instructors will train its clients in  firearms safety and the fundamentals of marksmanship, preparing them for range exercises that will give them the confidence needed to be an Armed Security officer. If an officer already possess a Class G license, we conduct 4 hour range re-qualification courses to aid officers in keeping their Class G certification in good standing.In addition to Class G programs we also offer concealed weapons courses, home firearms safety courses and pistol and shotgun training. Whether you are seeking a career in law enforcement, private security, personal protection, or considering purchasing a weapon for self defense and home protection, we have a course designed for you.

 Weapons Training       

The State of Florida requires all applicants for concealed weapons licenses to have training in firearms and conduct a range excercise. Pursuant to that, we offer a Home Firearms Safety Course and range excercise for beginners and experienced shooters alike, to prepare them for concealed carry and provide the necessary documentation to aquire the concealed  weapons license (Class W).

Some may decide they want to improve their marksmanship skills and take the Basic Pistol Course. This course will aid shooters in improving their marksmanship skills focusing on the basic fundamentals of shooting. This is an 8 hour course, however it may also be utilized to aquire the concealed weapons license.

In addition to training that focuses on the use of a pistol, our certified shotgun instructor can qualify and coach clients interested in learning more or sharpening their skills with shotgun training. Sign up for a firearms course today!

Tactical Expandable Baton Training

Lionz Gate Security Services Instructors are certified expandable baton Instructors through Armament Systems and Procedures (ASP) baton course. This course is an easy to undertand easy to use course that teaches the student how to carry and properly use the baton. The training is a  8 hour hands on participatory seminar that teaches the operational use of the ASP Tactical Baton. Upon successful completion of the course, students will receive a training certificate and certification card from Armament Systems and Procedures (ASP).

CPR

Lionz Gate Security Services Instructors are Certified CPR Instructors through ASHI. The American Safety & Health Institute (ASHI) is an association of professional safety and health educators providing nationally recognized training programs across the United States and in several foreign countries. ASHI offers training and certification programs in emergency care and occupational safety and health for corporate America, government agencies and emergency responders. Law Enforcement Training

We at Lionz Gate Security Services know what it means to

serve. We offer specials for law enforcement officers and

provide training that many officers find useful in the

performance of their duties. We provide pistol and shotgun

training courses designed for law enforcement personnel as

well as Asp Baton and Asp Handcuffing courses. Our Instructors

also conduct Cardio-pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) and

Automated External Defribrillator (AED) certification courses
